Ever feel like wine can be like your friends (or vice versa)? Some wines change over time. The brand may still carry the same name, but the year of the wine is what makes a difference. It could be really good one year and the next year could have a dramatic change (good or bad). This is bound to happen with all wines. You never know what a drought or wet season will bring to the grapes. You just keep holding out hope that with each passing season, it is a good year for harvesting. One can only take a bad year for so long before they give up and go one to another wine.
None the less, no one wants to lose what was once a good wine….you only want your taste buds to change with the wine! It’s called growing together…. not apart.
