When life hands you lemons…..you can sit around and complain about how unfair it is or you can put your big girl panties on and embrace the suck! Who cares if you were set up for failure. You still have a job, making the same pay and now the finger isn’t always pointing at you. If this is happening to you, it is not necessarily you who has failed….. it is your leadership who has failed you. You have two paths you can take; 1) jump ship and get a new job or 2) take the high road and welcome the new person on and help the program be successful. Sometimes change can be good…… or not. Sometimes, its leadership wanting their own people in positions because they have worked with them previously.
I don’t know what my plan is, but I do know that it will give me less stress and I can spend more time with my husband and be there for him without worrying about work slipping. So for now I am going to make lemonade out of this situation.
